03.09.19 – Long Days

Ohhhhhhhh my gosh!

I’ve got my first long day this Thursday since 2017. I’m very nervous but I’m sure I’ll be absolutely fine. This means I’ll have more days off and not have to drive back and forth from Wolverhampton. Long days are 12.5 hrs and I’ve done them all through uni and my first few years as a qualified nurse. I’ll make sure I’ve got plenty of food to keep me going! Luckily it’s the only day I’ll be working this week, then Saturday morning I’ll be flying off to Amsterdam 👏🏼😊

I’m currently looking for work elsewhere because I want to get a closer to my dream job (Liver transplant co-ordinator). So, I’ve applied for a post at QEHB.

🤞🏼✌🏼✌🏼

  4. Good luck with your long shift . Keep busy , don’t watch the clock , try have power nap on your lunch . Even 10-15 minutes rejuvenates you.
A coordinator would suit you . Good luck with that .
