Introducing Alfie! Our toy Markie (Maltese Yorkie mix). He’s probably what most people would call a handbag dog, yet he’s much more than that to us. He’s got a great character and confident around all dogs despite his age and height. One of his doggy pals is actually a 55kg Great Dane!
I haven’t forgetten about Henry (cat) but it’s always great to have two pets if they interact well together. Alfie does get a little excitable as you would expect a puppy to be but we make sure Henry gets his own space when he wants to be alone.
We’ve settled in well in Cleveland, Ohio and so now focusing on my career after the hot summer break.
I’ve enrolled into a Health and Life coaching course which I hope to complete in 6 months. I’ll be looking for clients soon to take on by the end of this year to build up my business. I’ve decided to focus on my life experiences (eating disorders, liver transplantation to name a few) to help others. This I believe I’ll be able to really empathise with clients and support them along the way.
I do however will hold onto nursing part time as I’m curious to see how different nursing is in the US. Did you know that the call the drugs by their brand names?! looks like I’ll have to learn them all over again, but that’s fine because it’s never caused harm to educate further.
