18.05.20 – Cinnamon Rolls

So I’ve been working hard on my YouTube channel for a few weeks now and when I look at the stats, I feel as if I’m doing it all for nothing. I’m impatient! I know it’ll take a few years to build up more interest. I think I’m just desperate to get back to work so I know I’m helping others. That’s what makes me happy.

I’ve got a good routine going even to the point where I have a schedule for each day of the week.

Mon, Tue: Studying

Wed: Filming

Wed, Thurs, Fri: Editing

Sat: Studying and Relaxing

Sun: Exercise class and Evening Quiz.

(Although I missed the last couple of exercise sessions 🙈)

One thing that’s gone out the window is my sleep pattern. I’m getting better because I’m waking earlier.

My dad told me that someone was coming to look at the fire alarms at 10am this morning. They ended up coming at 15:30. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I think that was a little trick to get me up earlier. Hmm. Not falling for that next time 😂

Like most people, I’ve been baking plenty of yummy sweet treats for either pudding or afternoon tea.

My most recent bake was created today. Ohh it’s probably one of the best batches of deliciousness I’ve made so far. So I asked my dad to get some more self raising flour from the shop to make more. They are super filling but so yum.

My cinnamon rolls. 🤤

Link to the recipe: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/tasty.co/amp/recipe/tear-and-share-cinnamon-rolls.

I don’t think there was much of a cinnamon taste coming through, so I’d recommend adding another tea spoon, but they will still be more that fine.

So I doubled the recipe because I knew 4 weren’t enough.

I want another one now! 🤣 My mouth is watering just thinking about them. 😁

I’ve been helping my mum and dad with other random things too. My mums a keen gardener and wanted to send photos for Chelsea Flower Show competition. She goes to the show every single year and for it to not be on this year, they’ve been asking keen gardeners to send photos and a few words on how the garden has been helpful during this time. So to help get it ready for the final photo, I’ve developed a new skill, Topiary.

Just a reminder: 20th May is the day when the soft opt out system comes into action.

I’ll be filming a short video with more information about it so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Hope you are well, staying safe, “staying alert” whatever that means 🤦🏻‍♀️

Click here to sign up to organ donation! It is equally important to discuss your wishes with your family, so that they support your decision.

The opt out system will come into place on May 20th 2020, but until then, you’ll need to sign up to the organ donation register.
