Long time no chat! Hello!
How is everyone? I hope you are keeping busy during lockdown. Making the most of being at home with loved ones. I’ve definitely noticed the money I’m saving. It does make you think about where your money goes doesn’t it!
I’m home with my parents again during this 3rd lockdown, but what’s different is that my sister and fiancé is living in the barn next door. Our older sister and bf was here for a few weeks after Xmas too, so we’ve all been making the most of being together again. I know our parents have been loving us all being home, just like it was before we fled the nest, minus the teen arguing! 😂

I look back at 2020 and think, ‘thank god that’s over now’. It was just not my favourite year to say the least, however I only ended up staying in hospital once. I think that’s a record in 6 years! I’d say I’m pretty lucky considering the pandemic. So the plan for 2021 is to build myself up again after all that negative energy with the help of meditation, self help books, exercise and by surrounding myself with positive people. I know I’ll have an even better time in my 30s as the vast majority of my 20s was spent in liver failure, in and out of hospital and the wait for my transplant. I feel like I’m reaching my peak in terms of health. So let’s not waste any time and see what this year brings. It’s a new year, a fresh start, big goals and happy times.

There’s a new organ donation campaign out this week. The campaign is called ‘Leave them Certain’. Its aim is to encourage a discussion of what your thoughts and wishes are for organ donation between your friends and family. So keep an eye out for different media and platforms featuring the campaign.
