02.11.19 – Happy Hallowe’en

Just over two weeks post op – I’m doing great!! Much better than expected, but I’m still having remind myself that I’m still recovering. I’ve got a few people around me who have to keep reminding me of that, as I like to run before I can walk.

I have moved back home to my parents for a bit to recover. It’s reminded me of my transplant recovery. Getting the chair out for the shower, putting a bed up for me, a fridge full of food. What more could I want? This time though, im able to do far more.

I was discharged on day 5 post op

I baked a cake on day 6

Day 7 – Went food shopping and played with the cat most of the day

Day 8 – Went out for lunch and into town. I was given some beautiful flowers 🌷

Day 9 – visited grandparents, went to the RAF cosford museum, went out for dinner, did some sketching and went to a village concert

Day 10 went back home to Birmingham

Day 11 off to a Diwali Event

Day 12, relaxed

Day 13 – Dyed my hair

Day 14 – Did some sketching

I would say I’m pretty much back to normal apart from having to take pain relief.

Onwards and upwards from here 😁

  1. May all of Gods blessings be with you Olivia. I truly hope you will one day look back on these trials and tribulations you are going through and the memories will only be of the great folks who walked with you through these times and the procedures and pangs you endure are nothing but faint memories.
